Information We Collect

LightVision is operated by 5280 Lights LLC, a Colorado limited liability company, doing business as LightVision — "we" and "us" in this policy mean 5280 Lights LLC. When you create and use a LightVision account, we collect:

• Account information — your name, email address, company name, and login credentials.
• Uploaded photos — property photos you upload or pull in via Street View for measurement and rendering.
• Addresses entered — property addresses you type in to look up a house.
• Project and pricing data — roofline traces, footage measurements, your default and per-job rates, and the proposals generated from them.

Shared Proposal Links

When you send a homeowner a proposal, LightVision generates a shareable link so they can view it without creating an account. Opening that link records a view event, which includes a hashed (not plain-text) IP address and the browser's user agent string. This applies to anyone who opens a shared proposal link — including homeowners who never create a LightVision account — not just contractors who hold an account with us. We use this data to show you when a proposal has been viewed and to help detect abuse of the link system.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it — which pages get viewed and roughly where traffic comes from. It collects usage data through cookies and similar identifiers; we don't send it your name or email. How Google handles that data is covered by Google's privacy policy, and you can block it entirely with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Subprocessors

We rely on the following subprocessors to run LightVision:

• Google Maps Platform — address lookup and Street View imagery.
• Neon — hosted database storage for account, project, and pricing data.
• Netlify — hosting and content delivery for the application and this site.
• Resend — transactional email delivery, including proposal notifications.

Data Retention

We retain account, project, and proposal data for as long as your account is active, plus a limited period afterward to allow for account recovery and to meet legal and accounting obligations. Proposal view-event data (including hashed IP addresses and user agent strings) is retained only as long as needed to support the features described above and is periodically purged.

Requesting Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing jake@5280lights.com. You can also reach us by mail at the postal address below. We'll confirm your identity, delete your data within a reasonable timeframe, and let you know once it's done, subject to any records we're required to keep for legal or accounting reasons.
