Terms of Service

Service Description

LightVision is operated by 5280 Lights LLC, a Colorado limited liability company, doing business as LightVision — "LightVision," "we," and "us" in these terms mean 5280 Lights LLC. LightVision is web-based quoting and proposal software for permanent lighting contractors. It lets a contractor pull up a photo of a property, trace the roofline to generate a footage measurement, preview a simulated night render, and send a branded, priced proposal to a homeowner.

Subscription & Trial

LightVision is offered as a subscription at $149 per year. New accounts start with a 14-day free trial that does not require a credit card. If you take no action by the end of the trial, your account simply reverts to a free, unsubscribed state — nothing is charged automatically. Continued access to paid features after the trial requires an active $149/year subscription.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use LightVision only for lawful purposes related to preparing and sending lighting quotes and proposals. You may not use the service to upload content you do not have the right to use, to misrepresent a proposal as coming from someone other than your business, to attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the service, or to interfere with its normal operation or the accounts of other users.

Image Sources

You may only upload photographs you took yourself or otherwise have the rights to use. Screenshots or other captures from Google Maps, Google Street View, or other mapping or imagery services are not permitted uploads — the built-in Street View feature is the supported path for that imagery. You are responsible for having the rights to any photo you upload, and for any claim arising from an upload that infringes a third party's rights.

Your Content

You own the photos you upload and the proposals LightVision generates from them. We do not claim ownership over your uploaded property photos, your pricing data, or the branded proposals produced on your behalf. You grant LightVision a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to provide the service to you and, where applicable, to the homeowner you send a proposal to.

Google Maps

LightVision includes features and content from Google Maps. Your use of Google Maps features and content is subject to the then-current Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service at https://maps.google.com/help/terms_maps/ and the Google Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

No Warranty on Measurement Accuracy

Footage measurements produced by LightVision are estimates intended to support quoting, not survey-grade measurements. LightVision is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty that measurements, renders, or pricing calculations will be accurate, complete, or free of error. You remain responsible for verifying measurements and pricing before relying on them commercially.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LightVision and its members, managers, and employees will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business arising out of or related to your use of the service — including losses resulting from measurement inaccuracies, service downtime, or reliance on a generated proposal. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid LightVision in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of LightVision will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Colorado.
